I thought I'd start out by talking a little about my experience with this research fellowship this summer. I really have enjoyed the experience this summer. For one, its nice having a reprieve from school work, of course. It's not that I don't like school, because I do and I think it is quite interesting, but during school there are so many activities and you always feel like there is work to do (partly because there always is work you could be doing and partly because I procrastinate a lot). I also really like the format of this summer because I think its really given me a good taste of what living by yourself and being employed is like. I have to cook, clean, do the dishes, make time to buy groceries, find time to work out, find some time for club responsibilities and manage my responsibilities at work.
