Is this really the end?? I REFUSE!

I finally got to put my scrappy looking Howard Hughes bag in the washer. As I turned the machine’s dial, I realized that I was just about to wash away the beauties of my bag: the dirt patches, awkward smell, and the bag filled with paper, paperclips, and small pieces of everything.

Working For A Purpose: Antibacterial nanosilver particles causing water pollution?

My project will be investigating the characteristics of E.coli colonies when they are exposed to nanosilver consumer products. A tiny segment of Christina Arnaout, a second year graduate student, my research will help us further understand the need for additional treatment of wastewater pollution.

My 2nd Week of Howard Hughes

Two new people have joined the lab: one high school intern from Jordan High School and another is a graduate student who has just returned from the U.K. Working in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department has been absolutely amazing!
