Truffle Farm Anyone?

During my second or third week in lab I was taken on a wonderful trip to Tennessee to observe a truffle farm! In my lab, in addition to my project I took in a Truffle/Microrizae Workshop. The workshop was a lot of fun and I got to meet people from outside of the Durham area. I learned business and production aspects for truffles as well as information about the biology of the fungi.
