Trinity College Research Forums in Biology and Neuroscience

The Trinity College Research Forums in Biology and Neuroscience— formerly known as the Howard Hughes Forums— are designed to encourage undergraduate independent research in the biological and neural sciences. Students selected to be Forum Fellows participate in a spring semester seminar course (in either Biology or Neuroscience), as well as a poster session in the spring semester in which they present and discuss their research projects. Portions of each seminar are devoted to preparing and defending a written research proposal on either the work the student is doing or on future directions the work could take. Each Forum awards up to 15 grants of $500 to support independent projects.
